BF&M Volunteer Programme

Get involved. Give back!

Volunteerism is an integral part of all PGA TOUR events and vital to the success of the Bermuda Championship. During the week you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at a PGA TOUR event, make new friends, and witness some of the greatest golfers in the world! You’ll also help the tournament raise significant amounts of money for our charity partners.

In addition to feeling good about donating your time to one of the island’s biggest events, volunteers will receive a number of great perks! It’s free to volunteer and in exchange for your services you will receive:

  • One (1) Official Tournament polo
  • One (1) Official Tournament hat
  • One (1) Volunteer badge (for event entry the entire week)
  • Two (2) General Admission tickets to share with family and friends
  • One (1) Invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party
  • Complimentary lunch and snacks while volunteering

Committee Descriptions

A description of each committee is available for your review prior to your selection of the committee choices on the online Volunteer Application.  Each volunteer is given the opportunity to list three (3) committee preferences.  Volunteers will be notified of their committee assignment through email once the Volunteer Application is completed.  Committee assignments are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shifts and Schedules

All adult volunteers (those 18 and over) are asked to work a minimum of three (3) shifts over the course of the tournament.  Shifts are approximately four (4) to six (6) hours long, but can vary depending on the committee.  Volunteers are more than welcome to work more than three shifts if they would like. On the online application, you have the opportunity to select your availability and note if you want to work additional shifts.

Uniform Distribution/Volunteer Orientation

Volunteer packages may be picked up at Volunteer Orientation. Orientation will take place prior to the tournament with date and location to be announced.
